Feel the rain - Barso re Megha

"Only few can feel
 the
 rain
others get only wet."

The most precious gift of nature is although a rain. It refreashes our mother earth and helps her to balance its temperature. *Well most of us like the smell of soil when it is combined with rain water.  Wo kehte hai na “Baarish ki shondi khushbu”. Rain plays a key role in the cycle of returning water back to our earth. So it is obvious that we need rain in order for the world to continue functioning.

India’s resident migratory bird, the Pied Crested Cuckoo, is unlike any other creature on earth.
This bird only drinks rain water drop by drop as it pours down. However thirsty it may be, it does not drink any other kind of water, not from the streams, rivers or collected rainwater. It is said that this bird can live for many days without water. But when it gets thirsty it calls on Megh(a) (the rain lord) to make it rain. And it is said that its call is always answered.
This bird is often quoted by saints as an example of an ideal spiritual seeker who ignores all things worldly and quenches its thirst by drinking directly from the heavens above.

☂☁ ☂ =Memories= ☂☁

There is a new memory behind each drop of rain which reminds me of several things that I still cherish from my memories:
*Making Paper boats
It was quite funny when i made a paper boat because I thought it was my biggest achievement in life. It about my chilhood days.... Once my elder brother was playing with the boat during rainy days. I was amazed to see the boat floating on water. Then he said “tumhe nava banani hai? Chalo mein sikhata hu”, Then he took a paper showed me steps. It was quite difficult for me when I saw it first but soon I figured it out.

*Dancing in rain
One of the amazing thing that I have ever felt was the raindrops of water and me walking in streets aimlessly.
At home my fav. work is to play songs in full volume and I call everyone at home to join me.

The song were mostly related to rain.. We enjoyed a lot together.

Lastly I would end up with the Lines
“Baarish hai khayalon mein sab dhul jayegaRoshan rashta naya ek khul jayega Beh jayega
Tinka tinka kal ka silsila Chalo”
